Larson Electronics LLC Releases Single Phase Buck/Boost Step-Up Explosion Proof Transformer
Larson Electronics LLC, leader in industrial lighting and equipment, has released a new single-phase explosion proof buck and boost step-up transformer. This transformer provides increased reliability, higher efficiency, protection against critical equipment failures and an isolated power source. The ETX-BBT-208V-240V-23.4A-2X0.75S from Larson Electronics is a 5.53 KVA rated, single-phase step-up explosion proof buck and boost transformer . This unit has a primary voltage of 208V AC, using a maximum of 26.6 amps on the primary side, and a secondary voltage of 240 providing up to 23.4 amps on the secondary side. Buck/boost transformers direct the majority of the load voltage directly through the transformer, which only transforms a small percentage. This means that this step-up transformer is built smaller and runs quieter, providing users with significant energy savings and environmental benefits.
