TR Electronic Unveils a NEW Series of Small Multi-Turn Absolute and Incremental Rotary Encoders
A new encoder design is taking over the market. TR Electronic introduces a new series of absolute and incremental encoders that feature a 36mm diameter compact design, with advanced encoder technology that relies on proven multi-turn gear technology.
The NEW series of CM_36/IM_36 encoders from TR Electronic are available with an IP69K rating for high pressure wash down applications.
The compact 36mm series of rotary encoders from TR Electronic have a completely encapsulated electronics unit with up to an IP69K rating. The encoders have no moving internal parts and feature proven double bearing technology. Contact-free scanning means no wear and tear of the device and it contains integrated compact gears with up to 4096 revolutions. Double rotary encoders feature a complete two-channel installation.
The CM_36/IM_36 series is made up of incremental, single and real multi-turn rotary encoders, with single-scan or double-scan functionality. They are implemented according to the redundancy concept from the gears to the scan, power supply and interface.
The NEW 36mm small multi-turn absolute and incremental rotary encoders communicate with the control unit via incremental signals (K1, K2, K0 and negating), SSI, double SSI, SSI + incremental. (DriveCLiQ and CAN interfaces coming soon). Key features of the CM_36 / IM_36 series are:
- IP69K Protection Class Rating
- Built tough for high pressure, caustic and wash down applications
- Working temperature of -40°C...+ 70°C
- Customized adaptations available upon request
