Versalogic Announces Board Support Package for Wind Rivers VxWorks
Eugene, OR - VersaLogic Corp. today announced the market launch of a Wind River VxWorks® real time operating system (RTOS) Board Support Package (BSP) for their popular VSBC-8 EBX single board computer. This release comes at the same time as an announcement of formal partnership between Wind River Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIND), a worldwide embedded software and services provider, and VersaLogic Corp., an award-winning embedded hardware manufacturer.
The Wind River Partner Program-certified BSP from VersaLogic will allow developers to configure their systems quickly, and develop applications in a shorter timeframe. The BSP supports the VSBC-8 Flash BIOS with OEM enhancements, a CPU temperature monitor interrupt, I/O options and other functions. VersaLogic used Wind River's Tornado® 2.2 development tools to build, test and validate the BSP for the VSBC-8 single board computer.
