PC/104-Plus CPU Module Uses 38% Less Power
Eugene, OR - VersaLogic Corp. announces the release of a fanless PC/104-Plus Single Board Computer based on the low power Intel® Celeron® processor. This 350 MHz version boasts no moving parts, 0° to 60°C operation, and draws a full 38% less power than the Pentium III equivalent. The combination of significant power savings coupled with no moving parts assures rock-solid reliability in even the most demanding environments.
The Jaguar line's features include 10/100 Ethernet, AGP video/flat panel, industrial I/O, and DiskOnChip. Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) provide ESD protection on the I/O ports, reducing the risk of static damage. Few other boards in the embedded market offer this TVS protection. VersaLogic targets a minimum availability of five years for all of its embedded OEM products. The Jaguar product line is ideal for a variety of OEM applications including medical, transportation, automation, military, and other high-reliability environments.
