X-ES Announces XCalibur4301: a 6U CompactPCI Single Board Computer with Intel® Core(TM) i7 Processor



Middleton, WI - Extreme Engineering Solutions, Inc. (X-ES) announces the immediate availability of XCalibur4301, a conduction- or air-cooled 6U CompactPCI Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the Intel® Core(TM) i7 processor. For upgrades to existing commercial, industrial and military 6U cPCI applications, the XCalibur4301 delivers significant performance and efficiency improvements over previous SBCs.

The XCalibur4301 is a powerful solution for the next generation of compute intensive embedded applications with a feature set that includes:

o Intel Core i7-610E, -620LE, and -620UE processors

o Dual-core with hyper-threading technology

o Two channels of up to 16 GB (8 GB each) DDR3-1066 ECC SDRAM
