Brady's New Simulated Surveillance Cameras offer Economical Solution for Crime

Brady Worldwide, Inc. adds dummy security cameras to line of security products for loss prevention

Milwaukee, WI - Brady Worldwide, Inc. has expanded its line of security products to include three new types of simulated camera surveillance devices, commonly known as "dummy cameras." The simulated security cameras are an economical way to deter burglary, minor theft and vandalism in small business facilities. They can also be synchronized with real camera surveillance to increase the deterrent effect at minimal additional cost.

Simulated surveillance cameras reduce likelihood of property crime, loss prevention

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, property crime makes up just over three-quarters of all crime in the United States. Small to mid-size businesses and their facilities are often the targets for property crime, which includes theft, burglary and vandalism, among other crimes.

Effective barriers like dummy security cameras and other loss prevention security products can reduce the likelihood of property crime threats. The cameras give the appearance that the facility is under surveillance, which can deter criminals from executing the intended crime.

Brady offers three versions of indoor and outdoor simulated surveillance cameras

Brady has added three different types of dummy cameras to their line of loss prevention security products, including two versions of fake indoor cameras and one outdoor camera. The simulated cameras feature real camera housing, dome/arm rotation, and continuous LED light activation from two AA batteries. All of the cameras are easy to install, complete with the mounting hardware and screws, and even mock cable wires on some versions.
