Patent Grant Adds to Company's Intellectual Property Portfolio of More Than 30 Patent Conceptions
ALISO VIEJO, Calif., June 27, 2007 -SiliconSystems, Inc., a world leader in advanced storage technology, today announced that it has received an additional patent for its industry-leading PowerArmor advanced voltage detection and regulation technology. SiliconSystems' continued dedication to enhancing its technology leadership position and creating innovative storage technologies has resulted in the company amassing a patent portfolio of over 30 patents and patent conceptions.
The latest PowerArmor patent covers the technology's expanded functionality, which ensures data integrity and data protection from power anomalies and low operating voltage situations in applications that have migrated to faster host system interfaces. Enhanced PowerArmor is integrated into SiliconSystems' next-generation SiliconDrive platform to deliver the high performance, high reliability and multi-year product lifecycles required by OEMs.
