Silfast 501 is a ready-to-use, one-component sealant/adhesive that offers superior window fabrication, faster production of curtainwall and skylights, better performance and ease of use for impact security glazing systems in the shop or field.
A versatile, two-component sealant/adhesive, Silfast 502 reduces material waste and costs by providing a fast-assembly solution that combines structural glazing and weatherseal applications into one product. Construction applications for the one-to-one ratio Silfast 502 include structural and conventional glazing, perimeter sealing of windows, doors and skylights, and unitized curtainwall assembly and field replacement glazing. The product's unique features include better movement capability, excellent unprimed adhesion and improved compatibility such as non-crazing of polycarbonate in security glazing systems.
