New Silicone Rubber for Health and Safety Uses
Ballston Spa, NY -Specialty Silicone Products, Inc., has introduced a line of TUFSIL silicone rubber designed for molding and extrusion into parts for health, safety and food processing applications.
TUFSIL® was developed by Specialty Silicones primarily for the manufacture of components of respiratory masks, tubing, and other parts that come in contact with skin, or are used in health care and food processing industries.
The product line is designed to be cured with the addition of a platinum based catalyst developed by Specialty Silicones. The cured rubber provides for a tight surface cure with low surface tack, yielding high tear strength finished products.
