New InVinCer(TM) Lines of Advanced High-Performance Silicon Carbide Products Launched by Blasch Ceramics
Both Reaction Bonded (SiSiC) and Recrystallized (RSiC) are now available --
ALBANY, NY (March 6) -Blasch Precision Ceramics new InVinCer(TM) lines of high-performance advanced silicon carbide products have been introduced to several market segments. These product lines provide an alternative to current suppliers offering extended deliveries and ever increasing prices.
Blasch's new reaction bonded material, SiSiC, offers excellent wear, chemical, oxidation, thermal shock resistance, and the highest thermal conductivity to its maximum use temperature of 1380°C. Available products include rollers, beams, posts, burner nozzles, pump components, crucibles, mechanical seals, micronizers, cyclones and sand blasting nozzles, in addition to others. Custom shapes are also available upon request.
The Blasch product introduction is targeted for the sanitaryware, tableware, technical, porcelain, refractory ceramic, and artware/hobbyist market segments. Highly abrasive wear and corrosion applications include; FGD nozzles, burner liner blocks, pipe bend liners and other highly abrasive power generation applications. This material is well suited to high wear and corrosion applications in the mineral processing and petro-chemical marketplaces as well.
Blasch's recrystallized, RSiC, silicon carbide is ideal for low mass kiln furniture applications. It offers very high strength, excellent thermal shock, oxidation, and abrasion resistance to its maximum use temperature of 1610° C. Available products include thin walled beams, posts, plates, special plate setters, burner nozzles, saggers, rollers, and specialized structural members, as well as custom shaped parts.
Both product lines offer innovative net-shape ceramic solutions, thanks to the combination of the Blasch high-precision manufacturing process, engineered design, and Blasch's in-depth understanding of materials science.
Founded in 1979, Blasch Precision Ceramics serves a variety of manufacturing and processing industries throughout the world, providing innovative, customized solutions for difficult chemical and high temperature applications.
