SIL Reed Relays come in single- and dual-pole versions.

Press Release Summary:

Occupying 0.15 x 0.4 in. board area, 2-pole Single-in-Line (SIL) 117 series relay is constructed using SoftCentre(TM) technology with integral magnetic screen. This ensures relays exhibit optimal reliability and no magnetic interaction when closely packed together. Single-pole version, also available, occupies 0.15 x 0.27 in. All models are rated at 100 V and can carry up to 0.5 A signal current and switch 3 W of signal power. Versions are also available supporting 3 V coil drives.

New 117 Series SIL Reed Relays from Pickering Electronics

Clacton-on-Sea UK - Pickering Electronics is expanding its range of reed relay products with the introduction of a new two pole Single-in-Line (SIL) 117 series relay.

The 117 series occupies the smallest board area in the Pickering Electronics reed relay range - just 0.15 inches x 0.4 inches for the two pole version. It is also available in a single pole reed relay occupying only 0.15 x 0.27 inches, just 38% and 26% respectively of the board area compared to the industry standard relays SIL relays of 0.2 x 0.8 inches. All models are rated at 100V and can a carry up to 0.5A signal current and switch 3W of signal power.

The 117 series reed relays are constructed using Pickering Electronics SoftCentre(TM) technology with an integral magnetic screen ensuring that the resulting relays exhibit excellent reliability and no magnetic interaction when closely packed together.

Using the 117 series reed relays users can minimize the footprint occupied by relays on dense product designs without compromising reliability or relay performance. Versions are also available supporting 3V coil drives for systems working at low supply voltages.
