Optical & Audible Signal Devices for Dangerous Applications
Werma Signaltechnik has enhanced its line of Explosion-Proof signal devices to include Lights, Horns, Alarms, Beacons and Buzzers. These signal devices are perfectly suited for use in chemical or petrochemical environments as well as applications involving the storage of combustible liquids, gasses or where dust is present. Werma Explosion-proof devices fulfil the exacting specifications of EN 50014 - 50020 and 50028. Decibel ranges for buzzers start at 90 dB and increase to 105 and 108 dB for the horn series. Beacons are available in flashing or rotating light versions and are equipped with sturdy, rust-proof, wire protective cages while the Signal tower series is encased and protected by an aluminum and glass housing. All devices except for the 718 buzzer carry protection ratings of IP 55 to IP 67 making most devices suitable for outdoor or harsh environment applications.
