New Control Software for PCB® 481A and 498A Family Signal Conditioners
April 3, 2006, Depew, NY, USA -The Vibration Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., introduces new control software for PCB® 481A and 498A family rack mounted signal conditioners. This new control software is supplied on CD-ROM and shipped standard with all new 481A and 498A signal conditioner systems equipped with the 101 Option for computer interface.
This user friendly and intuitive Windows® based software presents device settings in a spreadsheet table view and is capable of controlling 16 units with 16 channels each, for a total of 256 channels. Clicking the software's discovery button begins the process by interrogating the connected units and populating the table with each unit's current settings. From there, a single click can change which unit is being viewed or change the settings of either a single channel, multiple channels of a single unit or multiple channels of multiple units. This software also features an integral reporting tool, the ability to save and restore system settings, as well as online context sensitive help and an online manual.
