Low Cost Isolated Thermocouple to Analog 0-10V Signal Conditioner



Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord, California announces the availability of the Calex 8940 Series. The 8940-450-DC, 8941-450-DC, and the 8942-450-DC are low cost solutions ideal for applications where single point, isolated RTD signal conditioning is required.

The 8940 Series is for use with 100, 500, and 1000 ohm Platinum RTDs with a temperature range of -50°C to 450°C. The 8940 Series is designed for use with 2 or 3 wire RTD configurations. All three models employ linearization, three-wire compensation, as well as provide complete threeway signal isolation. The input is isolated from the output and both are isolated from the supply voltage. All models are housed in a plastic case with a built in DIN Rail mounting foot. The case dimensions are 4.3"L x 0.89"W x 2.9"H. All connections are made to easily accessible screw terminals. The 8940 Series is backed by Calex's five year warranty and is UL 508 and UL 1604 compliant.
