Signal Conditioners offer 3 selectable charge sensitivities.

Press Release Summary:

Series 481 (Option 481-486) Multi-Channel Signal Conditioners allow 1 of 3 charge sensitivities to be selected through single input, using computer or keypad control. Sensitivities include 0.1, 1.0, and 10 mV/pC. Units prepare measurement signals from piezoelectric sensors for input to recording or analysis instrumentation, and are available in 8- or 16-channel configurations. All models install into standard 19 in. instrumentation racks.

New Multi-Channel Signal Conditioner with Three Selectable Charge Sensitivities

June 1, 2003, Depew, NY - New Option 481-486 multi-channel signal conditioner from the Electronics Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., allows for one of three charge sensitivities to be selected through a single input, using computer or keypad control. Charge sensitivities that may be selected include 0.1, 1.0, and 10 mV/pC.

Series 481 multi-channel signal conditioners prepare measurement signals from piezoelectric sensors for input to recording or analysis instrumentation, and are available in eight or sixteen channel configurations. A wealth of options are offered which permit users to custom tailor their units with features such as gain, filtering, integration, and computer control. Series 481 options include RS-232 computer interface and RS-485 serial interface to enable daisy-chaining of multiple units, and incremental gain for auto-normalizing each channel to English or metric units. All models install into standard 19 inch (482 mm) instrumentation racks.
