Model 433 Three-Channel PE/ISOTRON(R) Signal Conditioner has i-TEDS "Smart" Capability
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - March 29, 2002 - Endevco Corporation's new Model 433 is a three-channel piezoelectric (PE) and ISOTRON(R) (IEPE/voltage-type) signal conditioner amplifier card that is rack-mounted. The card is used with single-ended PE and ISOTRON accelerometers, remote charge converters, and the newly developed i-TEDS IEEE P1451.4 "smart" sensors.
This unique combination of i-TEDS sensors and intelligent electronics provides a winning solution for modal test labs. Data entry errors are virtually eliminated, and signal conditioning set-up time is minimized. i-TEDS sensors contain all pertinent data, which automatically loads into a software database with a single mouse click. Each Model 433 card has an independent microprocessor, providing fast data transfer with increased reliability. Gain is programmable from 0 to 1000 while accuracy is ±0.5% at 1 kHz for gain >1.0.
The three-channel card is designed for use with Endevco's Model 4990 and 4998 racks. The 4990 rack is remotely controlled via Ethernet or RS-232 interface and holds up to 16 of the 4xx series of amplifier cards. The 4xx series amplifier card family includes (1) Model 428 dual-channel PE/ISOTRON(R) amplifier card with isolation, (2) Model 436 three-channel non-isolated bridge amplifier card, and (3) Model 482 eight channel i-TEDS amplifier card. The Model 4998 rack is a low-cost, space saving option that holds up to four OASIS-4XX cards, and up to four Model 4998 racks can be linked to one RS-232 COM port.
