Original Press Release:

Keysight Technologies Announces Unique Ability to Extend Frequency Range of Existing X-Series Signal Analyzers

SANTA ROSA, Calif., – Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced frequency-extension upgrades for its PXA, MXA and EXA X-Series signal analyzers. Currently, no other manufacturer provides the opportunity to upgrade frequency range after the initial purchase of a signal analyzer.

With this offering, users can extend the frequency of their existing instrument to the maximum available frequency of the analyzer model. The upgrade price includes installation and calibration as well as a full one-year instrument warranty. The signal analyzer retains its existing options, applications and serial number. This lower-cost alternative to new equipment is valuable to commercial and military companies with evolving frequency coverage requirements.

"As measurement needs change, the ability to evolve a test asset enhances its future readiness and ongoing value," said Satish Dhanasekaran, marketing manager of Keysight's Microwave and Communications Division. "The X-Series signal analyzer frequency upgrades are the latest example of our commitment to customers' changing requirements through an innovative purchasing model that addresses their technical and business objectives."

Frequency-range extension is a return-to-Keysight service center upgrade. This provides a convenient opportunity for customers to also choose to install additional functionality that further enhances asset utilization:
