Slim Player Holds Big Promise 19mm Ultra Thin Signage Player with Core(TM) i7 Quad-core Processor
Advantech announces the offer of the DS-060 series ultra slim signage players that will simplify signage deployment. Measuring a mere 19 mm thick, DS-060 is undoubtedly the world’s slimmest signage player powered by a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor (up to 45 watts TDP). This thin-and-powerful unit is equipped with 1x digital, plus 1x analog display outputs, and simultaneous dual 1080P capability delivers a premium visual experience for when graphics performance really matters. Windows® Embedded OS, Linux, and Android are supported, with iManager preloaded, and SUSIAccess for remote management is also on offer. We’ve designed the DS-060 series in the smallest possible form factor, for optimized performance.

Measuring only 19mm thin,witha small 18x19 cm footprint, the DS-060series is sleek enough to fit in just about anywhere.Thanks to its advanced thermal design, the DS-060 series can be powered by a 45W quad-core Core™ i7 processor with whisper-quiet fan operation. Or choose a low-power Atom™ processor for fanless, total silence. To simplify the installation, a VESA bracket is included as a standard accessory, and a table stand is available as an option. As displays are also getting thinner, you can still mount a DS-060 seriesunit on the back of a display for an all-in-one look and feel. The Advantech DS-060 series lets you drive digital signage from just about anywhere, even space-challenged places that previously would have been unthinkable.
Full-featured,Powerful Performance
Despite its diminutive size, the DS-060 series keeps all the power features you expect in performance signage players. With Intel® QM77 chipset, SKUs range from the high-computing-based 3rd generation Core™i7 to value-driven Intel® Celeron®B810E. The Intel® NM10 offers two low-power configurations based on Intel® Atom™ D2550 and N2600. With the support of internal 2.5’’ SATA drives, enabling mass storage capacity on this slim player is more cost-effective than ever. Following recent display trends, the Intel®Core™ i7 and Celeron® models both feature a DisplayPort output, while the Intel® Atom™ based models come equipped with HDMI. A qualified DisplayPort-to-HDMI converter can also be sourced from Advantech. And wireless, Bluetooth, or 3G are optional via miniPCIe.
Intelligent Manageability Powered by SUSIAccess
DS-060 Ultra Slim Series not only supports multiple OS options but also integrates Advantech SUSIAccess, a suite of application program interfaces that allows users to directly monitor and control digital I/O, CPU speed, watchdog timers, smart fans and access hardware. SUSIAccess is an application that lets system integrators centralize the monitoring and managing of digital signage players deployed in the field. And now it provides powerful functions for system network management: complete McAfee protection from unwanted applications, and simple backup and recovery via Acronis. As a result, the DS-060 Ultra Slim Series not only supports rich media for dynamic content processing, but also offers remote or centralized management (including content, as well as hardware and software). This solution satisfies market demands and achieves the goal of effective remote control for digital signage applications.
