Sirenza Microdevices Announces Production Release of New High Linearity, Medium Power SiGe HBT SGA Series Product
BROOMFIELD, Colo., May 4 / -- Sirenza Microdevices (NASDAQ:SMDI) today announced the production release of a new Silicon Germanium (SiGe) high linearity, medium power discrete product. The SGA-8543Z offers versatility and high performance from 50-3500 MHz. It can be biased from 2.7-3.3V over a wide range of currents to deliver the optimum combination of linearity, noise figure and power up to 20 dBm.
"The SGA-8543Z is an excellent addition to Sirenza's family of SiGe discrete devices," states Terry Hon, Sirenza's marketing manager for the Standard Products. "It is ideal for high volume, cost-sensitive cellular, GPS, and various ISM low noise and driver amplifier applications. The SGA-8543Z extends the product range of the successful Sirenza SGA series; Sirenza shipped approximately 45 million SGA amplifier products in 2005."
