Sierra Wireless and Bouygues Telecom Launch AirCard® 880E ExpressCard - the First HSUPA-Compatible Data Card in France
The AirCard(R) 880E ExpressCard - now available with Bouygues Telecom's unlimited mobile internet offers - enables business customers to access the operator's newly announced high-speed 3G+ network.
VANCOUVER, and PARIS, Nov. 15 - Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR)(NASDAQ:-)(NASDAQ:TSX:)(NASDAQ:SW) and Bouygues Telecom today announced the commercial launch of the AirCard(R) 880E ExpressCard in France. The AirCard 880E is now available through Bouygues Telecom's business sales channels, and offers connectivity to the operator's newly announced high-speed 3G+ network.

Sierra Wireless AirCard 880E ExpressCard
- Compatible with both ExpressCard/34 and ExpressCard/54 card slots found on newer notebook computers.
- Supports theoretical peak download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps (megabits per second) and upload speeds of up to 2.0 Mbps.
- Offers worldwide roaming, with support for tri-band HSPA/UMTS (850/1900/2100 MHz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz).
- Simple installation and setup with TRU-Install(TM) driver and software installation directly from the card itself.
- Includes Sierra Wireless TRU(TM) Design Features, including TRU-Durability(TM) with a rugged, fixed antenna design, TRU-Flow(TM), with proprietary data traffic technology for reliable, consistent performance, and TRU-PowerSave(TM) power management technology for reduced battery drain and optimized performance under varying network conditions.
