Sierra Wireless AirCard® 875 Now Available in Austria with ONE's High-Speed 3G Service

VANCOUVER, May 16 /- Sierra Wireless today announced that ONE Austria has selected the Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) 875 PC card to provide mobile broadband connectivity for customers of its new H.U.I. (Hollenschnelles Ultra-einfaches Internet, which translates to "Fast as hell, ultra-easy Internet") service package.

ONE's H.U.I. service offers Austrian customers mobile broadband coverage on ONE's newly launched HSDPA network at a cost competitive with fixed-line service. The AirCard 875 PC card, the newest device available with the service, is now available through ONE's retail sales channels, and online at www.one.at. It currently offers peak data transfer rates of up to 3.6 Mbps (megabits per second), and is "7.2-ready," capable of peak data transfer rates of 7.2 Mbps when supported by the network.

"Adding the AirCard 875 PC card to our product portfolio allows us to combine the flexibility of our H.U.I service with reliable high-speed mobile data access whenever and wherever it's needed," said Michael Fried, chief customer officer for ONE. "At home, at a client's office, or anywhere in between, customers using the AirCard 875 card can get messages, find information they need online, and respond without delay."

"The recent increase in data transfer rates offered by mobile broadband networks makes mobile broadband a viable alternative to fixed-line access service for many people looking for fast, reliable Internet service," said Jim Lahey, vice president, EMEA for Sierra Wireless. "For these customers, who depend on their mobile data card as their primary link, the quality and reliability of the device becomes even more important, and we're pleased to work with ONE to deliver the AirCard 875 to meet that need."
