Description: SIERRA is a family of pedestrian scale columns and bollards available in round or square profiles. SIERRA projects a contemporary design vocabulary, complementing outdoor spaces during daylight hours while capturing visual interest through soft, diffused illumination at night. All models are available with a horizontal or diagonal transition from the shaft to the lens to complement varying styles of architecture. Light sources include white LED, single color or RGBW LEDs, or conventional ceramic metal halide sources. White LED sources are available in warm or neutral color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80.
Optics for SIERRA consists of direct and indirect reflector elements working in conjunction with the textured matte acrylic lens to produce soft illumination with high visual comfort. The specialized lens material effectively diffuses light with uniform brightness along the length of the entire lens, and will not yellow over time or show fingerprints when handled.
SIERRA columns are 13’ or 21’ overall height. Wall-mounted versions and illuminating bollards are also available. Standard features include flangeless mounting and flush mounted handhole for a clean, understated appearance.
Construction and Finishes: Sierra column shafts are extruded 6061 aluminum in round or square profiles. PMMA lenses are impact resistant matte acrylic. Handhole covers are flush to the column shaft and secured with tamper-resistant locks. Electrical components are housing within a weatherproof enclosure at the base of the shaft.
White LED sources are available 3000K or 4000K color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. Colored LEDs are available as RGBW or in single colors. All hardware is stainless steel. Standard colors include matte silver grey, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available on request.
