Overture Networks' ISG 6000 helps service providers such as Sidera modernize their networks and continue to deliver existing IP and Ethernet services. By using the ISG 6000 instead of TDM interfaces, such as channelized DS3 or OC3/STM1 on routers, service providers can save up to 70 percent on CapEx while reducing their physical and power footprint. In addition, because the ISG 6000 supports a number industry standard encapsulation protocols such as PPP, MLPPP, Frame Relay and HDLC, service providers who install the ISG 6000 to aggregate their T1/E1 and DS3 based IP and Ethernet services can do so without making changes to their customer's CPE.
