PMI Unveils New Systems
at Pack Expo Chicago, November 3-7, 2002, Booth S-1276.
ELK GROVE, IL (July, 2002) -- Packaging Machines International Inc. (PMI), an innovative manufacturer of high-quality shrink wrapping machinery, will exhibit several new models at Pack Expo Chicago, November 3-7, 2002, Booth S-1276. On display will be one of PMI's new line of Cam Driven continuous motion tray wrappers with integrated tray stacking and turners. This new system features a reciprocating cam motion seal system with a flight bar tray pacing infeed for wrapping trayed products consistently at 60+ trays per minute. These new high-speed wrappers are available with stainless wash down construction.
Common options include tray stackers and turners.
At the show, PMI will also introduce their new compact pharmaceutical shrink-wrapping system. This system is a smaller version of the GR series designed with a small footprint and wrapping capabilities up to 50 multipacks per minute. This new wrapper incorporates automatic container handling and grouping for multipacks of small cartons or bottles.
PMI will also display its SIF series and BL series. The SIF series is a compact system with automatic infeed designed for multipacks and tray packs. This new system is an intermittent motion horizontal form-fill-seal machine and includes an integrated wrapper and shrink tunnel. The SIF series is available in stainless wash down construction and two common applications are aseptic juice boxes and small pharmaceutical
trays. The BL-60 model is a high speed bottom overlap system for
traywrapping with print registered film. The single roll, overlap seal technology of PMI's Model BL series offers high-speed shrink wrapping with unmatched efficiency.
