Coromant Capto Shrink Fit Adaptors for High Speed Machining
As a complement to the CoroGrip and HydroGrip precision chuck programmes Sandvik Coromant is now introducing shrink fit adaptors.
The balanced and slim design makes them suitable for high speed machining and for die and mould manufacturing, especially useful in deep and narrow applications demanding good accessibility.
High retention force and uniform grip around the tool shank make the shrink fit tool holder a perfect solution for safe and repeatable precision clamping of cutting tools with cylindrical shanks, in particularly those in small diameters.
Shrink fit adaptors for shank diameters 6 - 32 mm are available with the Coromant Capto sizes C4, C5 and C6.
