FPG7 5 x 20mm Fuseholder is Seventh in Series

SANTA ROSA, Calif., June 13, 2006 - SCHURTER announced today an extension to its FPG family of shock-safe fuseholders to include a version for SMD mounting. Like earlier FPG mounting styles 1-6, the new FPG7 accepts 5x20 mm cartridge fuses. The compact fuseholder includes a fuse carrier with screwdriver slot or fingergrip knob. It is UL approved according to UL 248-14 / CSA C22.2 No. 248.14 for 16 A at 250 VAC and VDE approved according to IEC 60127-6 at 10 A at 250 VAC. It has a rated power acceptance of 2.5 W at 10 A with an ambient air temperature of 23°C.

The FPG7 is ideally suited for multi-port protection of stacked printed circuit boards where horizontal access to fuses is essential.
