DBM Innovation Inc. Introduces the DBM Shim T-Block, Designed to Simplify Precise Alignment of Fixture and Machine Components

Sussex, WI - March 27, 2008 - DBM Innovation Inc.

DBM Innovation Inc. introduces a new shimming product for use in production machinery and related fixtures. The uniquely designed DBM Shim T-Block is a very compact shim block used to adjust locating details and other components on fixtures, tooling and machinery.

Compared to conventional shimming hardware, this product requires only one reamed hole and one tapped hole per shim block. Plus, it utilizes less space. Simply insert the block's integral post into a single reamed hole in the stationary component of the machine or fixture. Using the block's slotted hole, fasten the cap screw to a tapped hole in an adjacent fixture or machine component - then accurately adjust its location by utilizing the shim pack. The slot in the DBM Shim T-Block, and the oversize mounting holes in the movable component, allow adjustment in two directions when using two or more DBM Shim T-Blocks.

Two sizes are available with metric or inch screws and washers. The DBM Shim T-Block comes complete with socket head cap screw, washer and 4-piece shim pack.
