U.S. FDA-inspected manufacturer poised for growth
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 31 / -- SoftBrands, Inc. Shield Pack, located in West Monroe, La., manufactures bulk moisture barrier liners for both liquid and dry goods. In November 2005, SoftBrands announced that Shield Pack chose Fourth Shift Edition as a solution that would facilitate growth for the company. Shield Pack manufactures its liners for food and other demanding applications in a Class-100,000 certified cleanroom, a U.S. FDA-inspected facility approved for the manufacture of dairy packaging. The facility is included in the U.S. FDA Interstate Milk Shippers list of Certified Manufacturers of Single Service (Dairy) Products, and Shield Pack's quality system is certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Fourth Shift Edition combines the advanced ERP functionality of the Fourth Shift manufacturing system with the strength of SAP, the worldwide leader in business application software.
