Shelters Direct Builds Bullet Resistant Guard Booths for NYC Metro Transit
Shelter Direct built 31 UL 752 Level 4 bullet resistant guard booths that are placed throughout the New York City Subway systems to protect certain vital areas within the tunnels. The job required Shelters Direct to visit all 31 sites and perform measurements and layout requirements. Once completed these booths had to be manufactured to allow for being placed on a work train and positioned on the subway platforms.
