Non-Stop Dual Axis Sheeter Protects and Stacks Material
Automation engineered for 24-hour operation, this system offers
multiple roll, non-stop, dual-axis sheeting to process at high speeds without damaging the material.
Paper from six rolls, 6,000 lbs. each, is taken and collected in a Festoon accumulator to facilitate continuous sheeting. The material is then taken through an optically registered dual axis sheeter - the blade moves both down and across the material to prevent chipping and fracturing of the material edge. A dual gripper system stacks material without stopping the machine - the traveling clamp gripper grabs the front edge of the sheet, the gripper then performs a flying handoff to the next gripper, which carries the sheet to the stacking location.
The sheets can be stagger-stacked with 1" and 2" offsets, stack tolerance is within 1/16" per six sheets. Sheets are stacked on pallets that move when full to allow the next pallet in, allowing 24/7 operation.
