Shapeline, AB Announces Sale of Flex Measurement System to Arcelor Mittal Canada.

Linköping Sweden -- Arcelor Mittal (Dofasco), Ontario, one of Canada's leading suppliers of high quality flat rolled steels, has ordered a Shapeline Flex flatness measurement system for the Continuous Hot Dip Galvanizing Line at the Hamilton facility.

The Hamilton facility will implement the Shapeline Flex system to improve the tuning of the production line as well as for quality control before the painting process. Shapeline’s flexible concept enables the system to be installed in the existing production line during a normal shutdown, and without any line modifications. Start-up of the system is planned for the fall 2013 and will be the sixth Shapeline system supplied and installed at Arcelor Mittal plants around the world.
