High Capacity Shaft Collars Withstand Axial Loads up to 20,000 lbs



A new series of non-marring, high capacity shaft collars that provide about 3X the axial load carrying capacity as standard heavy-duty collars is being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford PowerRing(TM) Collars feature two precision machined halves pressed together around an embedded I.D. section and are tightened using multiple clamping screws. Providing axial load capacities from 6,200 to 20,000 lbs., depending upon size, these high capacity shaft collars are available in 20 standard bore sizes from ¾" to 2-½" I.D.

Made from steel with a black oxide finish, Stafford PowerRing(TM) Collars are precision machined flat and square, and balanced for high speed operation. Easy to install and adjust, they are self-centering when tightened and have a smooth bore to protect expensive shafts.
