Custom set-screw shaft collars that can incorporate a wide range of special design requirements and be machined from a variety of materials are available from Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Stafford Special Set-Screw Collars can be produced in English and metric sizes ranging from 1/16" to 14" I.D. with a wide range of wall thicknesses, depending upon material. They can incorporate multiple screws, face holes for springs and components, grooves for O-rings and seals, odd sizes, hex-, square-, and threaded bores, keyways, flats, and custom finishes.
Manufactured in prototype to production quantities, Stafford Special Set-Screw Collars can be machined from stainless steels, brass, bronze, steel, aluminum, copper, Hastelloy®, exotic alloys, and engineering plastics. Finishing operations can include anodizing, electropolishing, chrome plating, knurls, and other requirements, depending upon the material.
