RADFORD, VA - The Kollmorgen GOLDLINE® DDR system is a high performance, zero maintenance servo solution ideal for semiconductor applications. The system eliminates system integration engineering by offering a standard product with a fully integrated feedback device, matched drive amplifier and cable sets.
Kollmorgen GOLDLINE®DDR motors extend the peak torque capability up to 1000 lb. ft (1356 N.m) and continuous torque up to 250 lb. ft (339 N.m). 480 VAC versions are available, eliminating the need, cost, and space requirement for a transformer in most applications. Simplified construction, reduced parts and direct coupling eliminates problems associated with belts and gearboxes while providing a cleaner mechanical assembly, thus providing zero maintenance operation suitable for direct integration in OEM equipment.
The Kollmorgen GOLDLINE® DDR series achieves very high torque density through both large diameter, short length, and a high number of magnetic poles. The system consists of a Kollmorgen GOLDLINE® DDR series servomotor and Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR® CD Series digital amplifier.
