Park Place Packaging Machinery's new Servo-Drive Upgrade Kits integrate servo drives and controls onto base case packer machinery and associated automatic infeed systems, providing increased production versatility, efficiency and a range of advanced user-friendly features. The newly developed upgrade kits, which integrate with existing Pak-Master models PM-1 & PM-2 Case Packers and existing Park Place models WP-1 & WP-2 Case Packers, will be featured at Park Place Packaging Machinery's PackExpo International booth E-6485, Nov 3-7 in Chicago. Servo drives with PLC and touch screen controls allow an infinite number of variations for product sizes and stack patterns within the mechanical parameters of case packers.
The upgrade kits provide production personnel with easy access via touchscreen to many user-friendly operating features. With the upgrade, users will be able to make product changeovers by simply selecting icons on the touchscreen, and fault conditions and diagnostics information is only one-touch away. The upgrade kit also provides the advantage of PC networking for production reports as a ready option. Park Place and Pak-Master case packers are rugged and durable, built for decades of production use; the New Servo Upgrade Kits provide enhanced performance with the latest controls that are proven to contribute to efficient operation. The upgrade kits provide an excellent return on investment due to increased profits from better production performance.
These Servo Upgrade Kits from Park Place can also be implemented side-by-side with many tooling options, from simply replacing existing worn tooling and hardware on case packers, to applying new improved tooling specifically for the product and application, to developing a complete new automatic collating/infeed and outfeed system. Vertical compression or horizontal compression tooling is also available from Park Place Packaging Machinery. Once upgraded, case packer models are capable of speeds up to 32 cases/trays per minute, wrapping many different styles of cases/trays.
