VanguardMS Introduces Advanced Performance Management Suite for Comprehensive Network Management at an Affordable Rate
MANSFIELD, Mass., July 25 -- Vanguard Managed Solutions (VanguardMS(TM)) introduces a new Advanced Performance Management suite of services to enable businesses to access a comprehensive array of network and application monitoring options without the need to invest in their own expensive software tools. The company, which is the nation's largest independent managed services provider, introduced its Performance Tracker service in early June, now the entry-level tier in the four-tiered Advanced Performance Management suite.
The four levels of the new offering provide increasingly powerful features for achieving greater visibility and control over key network and application performance issues:
o Performance Tracker: Provides a base level of network monitoring including router and wide area network utilization. The service anticipates network performance problems before they occur, supplies trending reports for planning purposes and gives clients access to a convenient, easy-to-use Web portal.
o Service Level Tracker: Leveraging service level management features in network equipment, the service captures and reports on parameters typically offered as SLAs (Service Level Agreements) by carriers, affording clients the ability to track and verify reported SLA values independent of the carrier.
o IP Flow Tracker: Takes performance management a step further by tracking data flows across the network and providing a high-level analysis of traffic, application usage, and bandwidth usage. The service helps clients establish a baseline for normal network operation, identifies the most utilized network hosts and applications, and measures the effectiveness of established Quality of Service (QoS) policies.
o Application Performance Tracker: Offers definitive, detailed information about the performance of applications across the network from the end users perspective right down to the user/desktop level. The service measures client, network and server delay that provides the insight required for ensuring or improving the customers' experience.
The new suite of Advanced Performance Management services affords clients unparalleled flexibility to ensure the ability of the network to support the needs of their business. All of the incremental services provide flexible reporting including summary dashboards and detailed views, an easy to navigate portal, proactive management with client notification of performance issues and trending for capacity planning purposes.
