Motorola Launches Asset and Performance Management Services for Private Network Customers



Enables public safety customers to optimize network usage, improve utilization of existing systems and equipment, and more accurately plan for future communications technologies

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Sept. 12 /-- Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today expanded its service offerings for emergency responders and public safety customers by announcing the additions of asset and performance management services to its portfolio. These new services will help communications systems managers optimize the performance of their networks and equipment, while improving the accuracy of utilization reports and future
technology plans.

Motorola's asset management service includes software to improve visibility into the readiness of equipment. Customers can also use the application to track and schedule technology upgrades for their vehicle fleets.

Motorola will also provide consulting and professional services to assist customers with the implementation and operation of the asset management services solution.
