Harrisburg, PA, Feb. 22, 2004 - Laser Diode Incorporated (LDI), a unit of Tyco Electronics, offers custom packaging of optoelectronic devices to meet commercial, industrial, and military fiberoptic applications. Packages include industry accepted DIL, Mini- DIL, Butterfly, Coaxial, and TO styles, requiring hermetic environmental sealing.
With over 37 years of experience in optoelectronic device design, assembly, and packaging, LDI® products combine high reliability and quality to meet the demands of both government/military and commercial Telcordia specifications.
LDI device packaging of customer-supplied devices in bare chip form or on a sub-mount include MIL-Spec qualifiable lasers, ELED's, and a variety of detector products. Additional custom test services and product qualification plans are also available.
From small prototype work to large volume production, Laser Diode will work with customers to custom design, build, and test their optoelectronic device.
