MGE UPS Systems
The MGE UPS Systems Pulsar Evolution Rack (M15/M30) and Tower (M10/M11) UPSs offer network administrators the high-availability power solutions they need in one of the most compact footprints on the market. Using new high-frequency, line-interactive technology, the Pulsar Evolution delivers a sinewave output, correcting voltage variations and offering wide input voltage tolerance (up to 150 V-294 V).

Hot-swappable batteries are standard in all Pulsar Evolution UPSs making access quick and easy from the front of the UPSs, greatly reducing the risk of downtime. Battery extension modules (#3401) can be added to the M30 for extra long backup times -over four hours at 25% load! In addition, the two to four programmable outlets on each UPS can be used to reset network devices remotely and allocate longer backup times to the most
critical equipment.

MGE SNMP Web 10/100BT communications card (#3421) is both an SNMP agent and an HTTP/Web server. Therefore, it enables UPS supervision from virtually any Network Monitoring System using SNMP and traps, or virtually from any Web browser (for example Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator).

Orderly system shutdown of the protected servers can be operated through UM-Client (part of the Solution-Pac/wide area network (WAN) software suite). At any time, you can be informed of power problems and initiate an orderly shutdown on multiple servers over the network.

Accessibility by People with Disabilities

For hardware offerings, the following features support use by people with disabilities:

oControls and latches are operable with one hand and minimal dexterity.

oKeys are discernible by touch without activating them.

oPorts and connectors support connection of industry-standard devices.
