Pressure Sensors and Switches Meet High-Pressure Demands of Growing R744 HVAC/R Applications

ATTLEBORO, Mass., Jan. 23 -- Tracking the growing environmental and regulatory demands for R744-based air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, Sensata Technologies (www.sensata.com) has developed a line of pressure sensors and switches designed to withstand the R744's high- pressure operating range. These new devices support this ozone-preserving, non-toxic and non-flammable refrigerant and are among the sensing and power- protection products on display at the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition, in New York, Jan. 22-24, at booth #7929.

Designing to the technical requirements of R744 systems, Sensata's engineering team combined proven, robust low-cost sensor and switch technologies with HVAC/R system needs to deliver R744-capable products to the HVAC/R industry.
