Sensorex to Feature Economical S8000 pH/ORP System and More at WEFTEC 2011

See Us At WEFTEC 2011, October 15-19, Los Angeles, Booth 5155

Garden Grove, CA - Visitors to WEFTEC 2011 will have the opportunity to learn more about Sensorex's advanced sensor technology, with demonstrations featuring the S8000 pH/ORP Platform, FCL400 Series Free Chlorine Sensor and CLD400 Series Chlorine Dioxide Sensor.

S8000 pH/ORP Platform

The low-maintenance, low cost-of-ownership S8000 pH/ORP Platform combines a next-generation, flat surface self-cleaning pH/ORP (REDOX) sensor with modular mounting hardware and optional electronics to deliver precise measurement while reducing costs for water/wastewater treatment applications. Fully configurable, it allows users to initially purchase only needed components and expand measurement capability over time to meet changing plant requirements.

The same Sensorex S8000 pH/ORP electrode can be used in either tank submersion or in-line mounting applications to measure pH, HF resistant pH, ORP (REDOX) or low ionic pH, while rugged Ryton® (PPS) parts and Viton® seals in a chemically resistant body ensure consistently accurate measurements in harsh environments. The proven flat surface self-cleaning technology means less maintenance throughout the life of the product, especially in turbulent flow.

The S8000 sensor electrode measures a pH range from 0-14 (0-12.3 pH with low Na+ ion error) at a pressure range of 0-100 psig de-rated under temperature. It operates over a temperature range of 0-100°C de-rated under pressure or 0-80°C when mounted in flow cell or 0-70°C with an electronic module.

FCL400 Series Free Chlorine Sensor

The FCL Series Free Chlorine Sensor from Sensorex features a precise amperometric sensor that measures free chlorine in real time and is available in three different measurement ranges: 0-2ppm, 0-5ppm and 0-10ppm. The sensor's long-life design reduces maintenance cycles, which lowers lifecycle costs with less frequent sensor membrane cap/solution replacement and reduced technician installation time.

The FCL Sensor features a 4-20 mA direct output. It operates in a range of 5.5-8.0 pH, a temperature range of 0-45°C (32-113°F) and at a maximum pressure of 14.7 psig (1 Bar). The 4-20mA output signal produced by the FCL Series is compatible with both Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to easily support a wide range of applications from small stand-alone, single-point measurement stations to large plant wide network systems.

CLD400 Series Chlorine Dioxide Sensor

The flexible, low maintenance CLD Series Chlorine Dioxide Sensor from Sensorex is available in 0-2 ppm and 0-10 ppm measurement ranges for real-time, amperometric chlorine dioxide measurement with a 4-20 mA output. The sensor's long-life design reduces maintenance cycles, which lowers lifecycle costs with less frequent sensor membrane cap/solution replacement and reduced technician installation time.

The CLD's sensor operates over a range of 4-11 pH, at temperatures from 0-45°C (32-113°F) and at a maximum pressure of 14.7 psig (1 Bar). Chlorine dioxide is ideal for a broad variety of water applications, including municipal drinking water disinfection and industrial applications such as food processing and industrial process water treatment. Both the FCL400 and CLD400 Series Sensors can be easily installed into existing Sensorex flow cell configurations or used to directly replace sensors from other manufacturers.
