New 270 Series provides maximum flexibility in minimal space
Germantown, WI, January 2001 -The WAGO Series270 terminal blocks are an ideal solution for control panels or junction boxes where limited space and persistent vibration are often present. Front-
entry wiring makes the assembly easier and the original CAGE CLAMP connection for conductors (AWG 12 - 28) guarantees a vibration-proof connection.
The jumper system for the power supply is a key feature of the 270 Series. The jumper slots are very small and can accommodate a new type of non-insulated push-in jumper bar that is protected against accidental contact. Jumpers are available in 2-way through 17-way versions for power distribution. Since the protection against accidental contact is guaranteed by the design of the terminal, no additional safety measures are required. On the signal level, the jumper positions are compatible with the series 870 rail-mounted terminal blocks utilizing CAGE CLAMP Compact connections.
An optional LED for status indication and three locations for marker cards per terminal block offer assurance of a secure connection. The connections are marked in different colors, making field wiring even easier. The compact size, easy installation and significant reduction in maintenance
make the 270 series a cost-effective solution for sensor applications.
