Using the Synaptics SafeSense design tool customers can accurately simulate new sensor designs, such as Synaptics' proprietary single-layer sensor pattern, and achieve desired performance benchmarks without having to commit to multiple costly prototypes. In addition to design analysis, SafeSense provides a sensor drawing file which can be used for the manufacturing process. In combination with Synaptics' Design Studio(TM) 4 (DS4), SafeSense brings together the industry's first comprehensive integrated suite of powerful tools that support customers from the design phase through product evaluation and into production for touchscreen solutions.
