ASI's New Sensor Boxes Work in Controlling Motors and Drive Systems



Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. has announced the introduction of a complete line of distribution boxes to be used with all sensors equipped with the M12 type of connector. The new ASI sensor distribution boxes are ideal for use in tight spaces and harsh environments and come in a wide array of choices including with a 5-meter cable or with easy-to-wire spring clamp terminations. The distribution boxes are available in 4 or 8 position, PVC or PUR, with or without LED indication and with double assigned slots as an option for wiring.

The ASI sensor distribution boxes are mounted directly on the equipment and provide IP65/67 protection. A new accessory, the KFMY allows for two sensors with compatible contact configuration to be connected to the same slot in the sensor distribution box. The compact design minimizes the amount of panel space and the ASI distribution boxes can be ordered with different cable lengths.
