GREEN Access & Fall Protection, the industry’s leading access and fall protection equipment manufacturer for tank trucks and rail cars, is pleased to announce that its Model SS Self-Leveling Stairs help operators safely access the top of vehicles used in a variety of applications and industries.
The Model SS Self-Leveling Stairs are ideal for applications where the required range exceeds angles greater than 15 degrees above or below the working platform height. GREEN Access & Fall Protection’s self-leveling stairs, which have been trusted in the field for more than 40 years, feature non-skid, grip-strut treads for improved traction. Folding handrails made of heavy wall tubing are mounted on both sides are standard, while all units also include four-bolt mounting for easy installation.
The self-leveling stairs are available in steel, aluminum and fiberglass construction. Aluminum units have galvanized back box sections and back uprights, now available in a new, stronger design. Operators have the option to choose between slide-track mounting, pivot mounting and flush-mount brackets. Custom-designed safety cages are also available.
Operators can also install welded or chain stops to prevent the stairs from traveling beyond a predetermined position, which improves safety. Self-leveling stairs are can be custom designed to meet a variety of application demands. Expedited delivery is also available.
