Two New Series of Self-Clinching Pressbearings from SDP Feature Acetal or Sintered Bronze Bearings



New Hyde Park, New York - Two new series of self-clinching pressbearings from Stock Drive Products (An ISO 9001 manufacturer) feature Teflon filled acetal or oil impregnated singered bronze bearings. They are used in a large variety of products including: business machines, motors, power tools, medical devices, computer peripherals, etc. These pressbearings are all self-lubricating and self-aligning to ±5°. They allow the use of thin (.040" or .060" metal with punched or drilled panel holes.

The sintered bronze units, identified as the A 7Z40 Series, are stocked in 6 sizes with bearing I.D.'s ranging from .126" to .501". Maximum heights vary from .315" to .670". Their maximum radial load ranges from 65 lb. to 600 lb. The retainers for these bearings are stocked in a choice of zinc plated carbon steel, or 300 stainless steel. Maximum speed runs from 5100 rpm to 20000 rpm. Operating temperature for this seris is -20° F to +200° F.

The Teflon filled acetal units, identified as the A 7Z43 Series, are stocked in 6 sizes with bearing I.D.'s ranging from .189" to .501". Maximum heights vary from .250" to .705". Their maximum radial load ranges from 28 lb. to 320 lb. The retainers for these bearings are stocked in a choice of zinc plated carbon steel or 300 stainless steel. Maximum speed runs from 3300 rpm to 13000 rpm. Operating temperature for this series is -40° F to + 180° F. The acetal bearing material offers exceptional corrosion resistance and is not affected by most solvents. When supplied with stainless steel, corrosion resistance is even higher.
