(Neenah, Wis.) - Appleton Manufacturing Division's shower systems have been proven over time to provide superior cleaning of dewatering fabrics in the belt press and paper industries. All showers utilize a manual handwheel to rotate an internal brush that cleans the interior of both pipe and nozzles while simultaneously opening the discharge valve to flush clean any contaminents. Optional equipment is available for timed actuation of the internal brush and discharge valve, ensuring maximum showering efficiency without operator intervention. A unique nozzle design produces a crisp, fan-shaped spray to maximizes fabric cleaning. Each shower is custom designed to ensure the proper amount of coverage and desired spray pattern. The self-cleaning design is perfect for white water applications.
The patented, infinitely-variable spray angle valve design, coupled with differing nozzle sizes and spray patterns, ensurs optimum fabric cleaning with the lowest possible water consumption. Standard piping is available in either 304 or 316 stainless steel, from 1.5 to 5 inch I.D. Custom sizes and materials are also available upon request.
