Seika Machinery to Showcase World Renowned Storage Cases and Equipment at the IPC APEX EXPO

TORRANCE, CA- Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, will showcase its proven, advanced machinery in booth #2727 at the upcoming IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place February 19-21, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.

Seika Machinery will showcase its McDry PCB Storage Cabinet and McDry MB-301 Low Temperature Baking Cabinet. McDry units come in 1 and 3 percent RH models to comply with the strict standards required for proper storage of moisture-sensitive materials requiring ultra-low humidity levels. Additionally, the cabinets conform to IPC-1601 and IPC J-STD 033C guidelines for proper storage and handling of PCBs and moisture-sensitive components.

The HIOKI 1240 Flying Probe Tester provides a variety of benefits over conventional testing machinery. Some of these benefits include jig-less inspection for quick set up, and the proficient testing of mis-mounted components, faulty components, and poor contacts. Through resistance testing, the flying probe test is able to assess solder joints promptly, while still thwarting board damage through use of the soft-landing feature. Hioki features a four-wire measurement function and capabilities of the series extends to the active in-circuit test of FETs, relays, as well as three-terminal voltage regulators-applications that are regarded as challenging test issues for conventional equipment. New easy software programming will be introduced.

Also on display, Sayaka's CT23Q Series is the ideal solution for stress-free depanelization, providing a fixture-based highly efficient dust vacuum system. The router provides clean and precise depanelization for densely populated PCBs, and offline image-processing software for programming router paths. Additionally, the CT56NJ Large Board Size Router will be displayed and the new Twin-Table model will be introduced for the first time.

The Sawa Mounter Nozzle Cleaner cleans 20 nozzles at a time. With the system, ultrasonically-vibrated water thoroughly passes through every nozzle opening. Double-cleaning power is generated with ultrasonic-energy cleaning and simultaneous vacuum suction. Nozzle tips and apertures can be cleaned without leaving any residue.

Seika will feature the new Sawa Eco-Roll large roll model that cleans wiper rolls up to 24". The Sawa Eco-Roll eliminates waste and saves money by reusing wiper rolls for printing machines. In addition to providing a reduction in waste, use of the wiper roll cleaner results in reduced CO2 emissions in just 20 minutes.

Seika also will highlight the new Sawa Ecobrid fully automatic low-VOC emission stencil cleaner. The cleaner provides up to a 66 percent reduction in CO2 emissions, as well as a huge reduction in running costs. Additionally, the system cleans and dries in just five minutes

The new HIROX MXG-2500REZ lens design provides macro to micro views. Lens parfocality allows sustained focus across the entire magnification spectrum from 35 to 2500X. Turning the turret allows the operator to access each objective lens and an optical zoom range of over 70 times the minimum magnification.
