Seiffert Industrial's Pulley Partner® Laser Alignment System Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
Seiffert Industrial is excited to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Pulley Partner® laser alignment system, a lightweight, compact and durable tool designed for used with belt-driven equipment. This tool, invented by Bill Seiffert, owner of Seiffert Industrial, Inc. in 2000, revolutionized the way pulley alignments are performed. This tool uses proven reflected laser beam technology for maximum angular resolution, thus providing the user with the most reliable and accurate readings that no other method or tool can match.
The Pulley Partner® magnetically attaches to the inside or outside face of any pulley or sprocket and has no small parts or targets that can get lost. It can measure spans up to 6 ft. (3m) or better with ANY size pulley, large or small. A laser line is projected from the Pulley Partner® transmitter to the reflector mounted on the opposite pulley. A reference line on the reflector indicates offset and vertical angle misalignment immediately.
The laser line is then automatically reflected back to the transmitter's reference line to show horizontal angle misalignment. This ensures all major aspects of pulley misalignment are resolved. This tool is so easy to use, a single operator can perform the alignment task in minutes with no training and it comes in its own durable carrying case.
Since the introduction of the Pulley Partner® in 2000, various options have been added with new versions of the tool. Seiffert Industrial also offers the Pulley Partner® LRS for longer range alignments and the Pulley PRO ® Green with a green laser diode for a more visible laser line and for use in different light situations.
