Aleph Objects, Inc., sponsors 3D printer giveaway at biggest 3D printing show in North America
LOVELAND, Colo. - Aleph Objects, Inc., makers of the LulzBot™ line of desktop 3D printers, will be sponsoring and hosting giveaways at the 2014 3D Printer World Expo, hosted by 3dprinterworld.com. The two-day celebration, connecting educators, businesses, artists and entrepreneurs, will take place in Burbank, Calif., from Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2014.
The Expo floor will be filled with companies debuting cutting-edge technology and design, and Aleph Objects looks forward to the giveaway of T-shirts and a LulzBot TAZ 3. With the largest print area on the market, TAZ 3 features a fast print bed heat-up, high print resolution and eight materials for users to experiment with, including stone, wood, food-safe and plastic filaments in multiple colors.
"We're thrilled to have a leading open-source 3D printer manufacturer like LulzBot participating in our giveaway program at 3D Printer World Expo," says Jenny Bolton, President of Punchbowl Media Inc., producer of the event. "The TAZ 3 is a terrific and popular 3D printer so the lucky attendee who wins it in one of our drawings will be very happy. Importantly, it's a quality, dependable 3D printer that requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for novices as well as experienced users."
Building on the momentum from recent media attention, the 3D Printer World Expo is the largest exhibition of 3D printers under one roof to date. Designed to demonstrate how users are leveraging emerging 3D printing technology, the show will be packed with opportunities to learn from the experts, enter contests and experience the community of innovation and passion.
"Our team is excited about the opportunity to support the 3D printer industry evolution," said Jeff Moe, President and CEO of Aleph Objects, Inc. "The TAZ 3 embodies the concept of 'Libre Hardware,' which allows users to change, adapt and modify the printer over time, and we look forward to showcasing our company's model to show attendees."
Bringing something different to the table, LulzBot is the only 3D printer that has been awarded the Respects Your Freedom certification by the Free Software Foundation, meaning all products operate entirely on free software. Taking the RepRap philosophy of user freedom one step further, Aleph Objects continues to incorporate feedback and improvements from the community. Join in the conversation at: forum.lulzbot.com.
